KYLE J. WHITE
Kyle White is a proud conservative and dedicated personal injury and litigation attorney with deep roots in Anderson, South Carolina. Born and raised in the community, Kyle’s conservative values are woven into both his professional career and personal life. A proud graduate of Clemson University, he brings nearly a decade of experience representing insurance companies, Fortune 500 corporations, and other major defendants in complex litigation matters before joining his current firm. Now, Kyle leverages that experience to stand up for the community, particularly in cases involving:
- DUI crashes and dram shop cases
- Boating injury cases
- Personal injury
- Wrongful death
- Automobile and trucking accidents
- Defective products
- Insurance bad faith
- Negligent security
- Litigation against the government
Kyle’s conservative principles are evident not only in his legal practice but also in his personal life. A former Republican candidate for the South Carolina House of Representatives, he is actively involved in various community organizations and is a devoted husband, father, coach, and church member. His connection to the local community began when his parents, both honorably discharged from the Marine Corps, settled in Anderson around 1988. Kyle is a member of the National Rifle Association, the South Carolina Sheriff’s Association, and the South Carolina Troopers Association.
Kyle’s legal acumen is well-established through his track record of securing substantial verdicts and settlements for his clients against the government and corporate America, totaling tens of millions of dollars. Notable victories in trial include:
- A $4 million jury verdict against a government defendant, with the jury finding 15 “occurrences” under the South Carolina Tort Claims Act.
- A $1.25 million jury verdict in a negligent security case involving a fatal accidental shooting at an apartment complex.
- A confidential six-figure settlement following a week-long trial concerning a suicide caused by a pharmaceutical drug that should have never been prescribed to the decedent.
- $150,000 jury verdict in a wreck case in Spartanburg County Court of Common Pleas, with $75 thousand in actual damages and $75 thousand in punitive damages, in which the defendant was speeding and collided with our client, causing approximately $30 thousand in medical bills.
- $145 thousand jury verdict in wreck case in Spartanburg County Court of Common Pleas, with $45 thousand in actual damages and $100 thousand in punitive damages, in which the Defendant’s vehicle crossed the center line and crashed into our client, resulting in one medical treatment visit for pain in the days after the crash.
- $141 thousand jury verdict in a wreck case in Charleston County Court of Common Pleas, in which the Defendant collided with our client’s vehicle, causing no physical injuries or medical bills, but causing our client to lose valuable time with her sick child due to the Defendant’s insurance company’s claims handling.
- Jury verdict for our client against a government defendant in Richland County Court of Common Pleas.
- Jury verdict for our client in federal court in a civil rights Fourth Amendment case against a government defendant.
- Jury verdict for our client in the amount of many multiples of the medical bills in Greenville County Court of Common Pleas in a case in which an exploding tire caused hearing damage and tinnitus.
- Jury verdict of over twice the Defendant’s last offer in Spartanburg County, in which our client was stranded on the side of the road due to the Defendant’s failure to properly reattach a skid plate to our client’s vehicle during an oil change. The case settled for a confidential amount following the jury verdict in our client’s favor for multiples of the Defendant’s highest settlement offer.
